Gateway streamlines the recruitment of engineers and teams, covering both permanent and contract positions and also assists with global mobility for candidates that are placed with our clients companies. What should I expect from the screening process?

The process starts with a detailed profile evaluation and a brief conversation or video self-introduction to evaluate communication skills and suitability for company exposure. Candidates then opt for either a coding challenge or a technical interview, each taking about an hour. Successful candidates are onboarded as verified software developers, ready to be presented to companies seeking to hire on Gateway.

For contract/remote software developers, the initial step involves a thorough profile assessment, examining their online presence for technical expertise, work history, and more. They're asked to provide a video self-introduction to gauge their English proficiency, communication abilities, and other key remote work skills. This is followed by a technical interview or a peer programming session to assess their technical skills, and a final review of the candidate. If all goes well, we conduct an onboarding call to welcome them to the Gateway platform.

What are the fees associated with using the Gateway platform?


We offer two fee options. Our Lite plan, at $399/month, includes automated applicant screening and sourcing, granting you access to our platform to vet candidates yourself. However, this plan does not include access to handpicked developers or the assistance of one of our dedicated recruiters.

For broader access to a more refined group of candidates, consider our Premium plan that is a contingent pay per hire placement fee of 15% of the candidates 1st year salary. This plan opens up our global candidate pool, with unlimited candidate interviews and a list of curated developers. It also pairs you with a dedicated recruiter to ensure you interview only the best developers suited to your needs.

What kinds of employment arrangements do you provide, such as full-time, contractor, and others?

You have the flexibility to hire developers for various durations and roles, be it permanent full-time positions or contract/freelance assignments. Arc handles payroll and logistical aspects. In case of contractor roles, opting to transition the developer into a full-time employee will incur a contract-to-hire fee.
